The Society of Women Writers Tasmania is a welcoming community for writers of all genders and backgrounds who want to connect, create, and share their work in a supportive local environment. We are based in Launceston, Tasmania.
The Society of Women Writers Tasmania, meet once a month at the Launceston Library, where members enjoy guest presentations from authors and industry professionals, participate in writing exercises, and have the opportunity to share their work with fellow writers. Whether you're just beginning your writing journey or are an experienced author, you'll find encouragement, inspiration, and friendship within our community.
New members are always welcome! If you'd like to get to know us before joining, you're warmly invited to attend a meeting and see if the Society is right for you.
